What could I switch to?

Questions we get asked
How do you decide which move fits best?
Four weighted inputs: how much of the target role your skills already cover, the pay change, market demand, and how much your disruption risk falls. Your stated appetite for disruption tilts the weighting between safety and upside.
Why is the skills figure directional?
Because career moves are not symmetric. Moving from principal engineer to junior developer is easy; the reverse is not. We measure what fraction of the target role you already satisfy, not generic similarity between two roles.
Are these real career paths people took?
Not yet. They are computed from skill overlap, so they describe what is reachable from where you stand. As real career histories accumulate we replace derived paths with observed ones, and the confidence figure will rise.
